Christy is the Designer and Owner of Free Spirit Bras. Christy has 18 years of design & sewing knowledge. After experiencing personal challenges with her own breast health through out her life and after the birth of her first child Christy realized where her gift to humanity could be utilized to the greater benefit of women of all ages. Becoming a Custom Bra Maker seamed to be a natural Fit!

No matter how your garment looks on the hanger, it won’t look its best on you unless you are wearing a good quality, proper fitting bra underneath.
Christy will custom design the bra to fit your unique body shape. As well as be able to modify the bra without compromising fit or support to accomodate for special needs for a particular garment. ie. design the bra neck line lower so it does not show through lower neckline tops or dresses, design the straps so that they are narrow enough to hide under tank tops etc.
Some of Christy's credentials include Costume Cutting & Construction Diploma in Theatre Studies (Red Deer College), Certified Bra Maker/Instructor certification from Bra makers Supply, Certificate in Custom Bra-making for Others, Custom Body Fashions and Made to Measure Swimwear (Mohawk College of Applied Arts and Technology.) Christy is also one of the founding Members of the Canadian Association of Professional Bra-Makers.
